Use the current version’s names
The official Candy Kingdom Defense page now names Adventure Boy, Stretchy Dog, the Candy Princess and the Vampire Queen. It describes seven worlds and 35 stages. Older search previews using different names and a five-world count should not be treated as the current roster or map list.

Keep three progression decisions separate
The description distinguishes leveling a squad, rerolling traits and evolving heroes. It also identifies the Treasure Hoard as the summoning feature. These are separate decisions: obtaining a hero does not tell you its evolution cost or establish which trait is best.
| Decision | Information to read before committing |
|---|---|
| Summon | Current cost, available pool and any displayed restrictions. |
| Level a hero | Required resources and the stated change. |
| Reroll a trait | What will be replaced and whether the result is random. |
| Evolve | The exact hero and materials required by the current interface. |

Choose a mode for the goal you actually have
The current description mentions stages, Infinite Mode, Challenges, weekly tournaments and PvP. A useful first session begins with one goal rather than repeatedly switching modes to chase unrelated rewards.
For example, decide whether you want to learn how a squad handles a stage, compare a changed trait, or play with friends. Record the map and conditions when comparing a squad. A successful run in one mode is not evidence that the same team is optimal everywhere.

Where the official page says to redeem codes
The developer directs players to Stretchy Dog’s Code Corner in the Tree Fort. The current description we reviewed does not list a new named code. A search result that still advertises an older launch code is not enough to label it active.
When a developer announcement provides a code, copy the exact spelling and keep the result message. Already-used, invalid and expired messages describe different outcomes. This guide identifies the official location but does not claim a tested redemption or a complete current code list.

Plan a comparison with your squad
- Record the hero names as they appear in the current game.
- Choose one map or mode for the comparison.
- Change one level, trait or evolution choice at a time where practical.
- Note the resource cost and the result, including where the run failed.
- Keep a working squad reference before making another replacement.
Mobile and group preparation
The developer lists PC, mobile and tablet play, with up to three friends joining you. Agree on the intended mode and confirm everyone can reach the session before spending resources on a particular plan. We have not tested touch controls or invitations.
There is no verified universal tier list, pity counter or evolution recipe on this page. Those details require current game data. Use the exact in-game names and requirements when asking for help so an answer based on an older roster does not send you toward the wrong character.
