The target is not the total

PowerPyx’s location guide lists 50 Gold Beetles. It says All That Glitters requires at least 46 to be collected and traded in at Port Brilehaven. That leaves a margin of four. Keep the achievement target separate from the full location count.

Decide whether your goal is the achievement or all listed locations before planning a long cleanup route. Those goals use different stopping points. Keep the number collected, the number handed in and the achievement’s actual status separate in your notes.

An empty spot can be a timing issue

The source notes that some Beetles appear only after later story progress, even where the area itself is already accessible. Before marking a location “missing,” compare its timing note with your current progress.

Record an unresolved location as “revisit” rather than “collected.” A useful entry has the area, landmark, requirement and the source’s entry number. Avoid mixing numbers from different guides: each author may order the same locations differently.

Keep a checklist that answers your next question

Before a return trip, compare your collection notes with what your inventory and exchange interaction show. A checklist total alone is not proof that the achievement condition has been completed. If the result is short, reconcile the unconfirmed entries before repeating an entire region.
