Why you may see October 28 and October 29
Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for October 29, 2026 on S-GAME’s official website. The Steam listing checked on October 26 displays October 28. The developer’s PlayStation Blog includes an October 28 footnote for the US and selected regions, while the US PlayStation product page itself displays October 29. Check the storefront and account region you will actually use before setting aside launch night.
| Source checked | Date displayed | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| S-GAME website | October 29, 2026 | The developer’s headline launch date. |
| Steam store | October 28, 2026 | Recheck the listing shown for your own region. |
| Developer’s PlayStation Blog | October 28 in the US and selected regions | A regional footnote, not an exact unlock hour. |
| PlayStation US game page | October 29, 2026 | This page still differs from the blog footnote. |

September 9 is an older announcement
S-GAME’s June 2 letter moved the earlier September 9 release date to October 29. An old trailer or search result can therefore contain a real announcement that no longer describes the current plan.
A calendar date does not settle an unlock hour. We could not independently verify an exact unlock or preload time from the official pages accessible in this check. Recheck your store before making an hour-specific plan.

Turn the specs into a useful check
These are developer targets, not our benchmark results. Matching only the GPU does not establish performance on the rest of your system. Compare the CPU, GPU and memory together, then confirm that the intended installation drive is an SSD.
The requirements text checked here does not establish a storage-capacity figure. Leave that line in your plan open until the store or installer supplies a confirmed amount; an unofficial download-size estimate is not a substitute.
- Record your platform, store region and the release date currently displayed there.
- Compare your complete PC configuration with one column of the official table, keeping the upscaling condition beside its FPS target.
- Recheck your store before reserving a precise starting time or arranging a download.
- Use the difficulty descriptions to choose what you want from the first session, then read the actual selection screen before committing.
