Hotfix 1.0.0.2: fixes and the unresolved save exception
Separate fixed world settings, rendering fixes and skipped corrupted characters.
Read the fix beside its limitation
Keen’s October 16 hotfix is build 1269579. It fixes world-setting configuration, an Nvidia grey-fog rendering issue and several crashes. Corrupted characters are skipped during migration to prevent a crash; the note promises further repair work, without a delivery date.
| Your symptom | What this note supports | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| World-edit settings fail | A fix is documented. | Compare your installed build before using the older workaround. |
| A character is missing | Corrupted characters may have been skipped. | Keep backups and report the exact symptom to support. |
| Dense grey fog on Nvidia | A rendering fix is documented. | Record build and GPU if it persists. |
Make a useful issue report
Editorial checklist: record the installed build, platform, reproduction steps and whether the affected item is a character or world. Describe an actual attempt and its result. Avoid labelling all missing progress as corruption.
The October 21 news-index check found no newer hotfix there. That observation does not establish every platform’s installed build or guarantee that a support case is resolved.
