This guide covers 0.10
Based on the official 0.10 notes through July 30, 2026, checked October 19. Motion Twin opened a newer public beta on October 15; its changes are outside this guide.
Encrypted Memories and their unlock materials are separate problems. First identify which one you are missing.

Locate the missing part
A biome can provide up to two Memories per visit while its pool remains: one from a randomly chosen enemy and one from its boss. Higher difficulties have separate reward pools.
Collected Memories stay with you without an Ark transfer. That rule does not make unbanked Memonites permanent.
| What is missing? | Where to check |
|---|---|
| Encrypted Memory | Sigourney's Codex lists missing biome rewards. |
| Required Memonites | Codex enemy entries identify material drops. |
| A tracked collection target | Unlock Memonite Hunt at Eperin, then mark the blueprint in FREND's menu. |

Read FREND's requirements before hunting
In the official example below, Overwhelming Dash is selected on the left. The right-hand requirements panel identifies Dried Grass and Golem Gardens; the bottom prompt offers Hunt Memonites. Read your own selected unlock's requirements rather than copying this example's material or count.
